Description
The homeowners wanted to double the size of their kitchen while adding lots of natural light. After removing a wall, we re-designed the floor plan, utilizing the existing fireplace chimney as anchor for a large peninsula with advanced storage and seating. Appliances were placed thoughtfully to help keep the workspace open. Pull-outs and accessories were added throughout the base cabinets to improve function. A pantry area with wine bar was added on the far side of the kitchen to maximize storage. Decorative doors were added at each exposed end to create a more polished and finished appearance. Colors were kept light, yet warm to keep the aesthetic bright yet inviting.
