A home is the ultimate composition. You want it to feel calm, harmonious, and effortless. But then you ask it to handle the high-volume chaos of real life, the morning rush, the dinner party "jam sessions," and the quiet moments in between. You need a space that hits the high notes of style without ever missing a beat on durability.
At KBIS 2026 in Orlando, Fabuwood didn’t just build a booth; we composed an experience. Our 3,000-square-foot, double-floor exhibit, titled The Sound of Home, was a walk-through design experience that moved guests through six distinct "tracks."

The Showstopper: A Masterpiece in Wood
Standing at the heart of the booth was the true pulse of the display: a massive, handcrafted wooden guitar. This wasn't just a prop; it was a labor of love by David Eigner, an inhouse craftsman, who worked tirelessly for months to bring it to life. Finished with a high-gloss luster that mirrored the reflective depth of our premium cabinetry, it left the crowd wowed. It served as the perfect symbol for Fabuwood, precision engineering meeting a soulful, artistic core.
As guests marveled at the craftsmanship, the air was filled with our newly launched company song, "Do the Impossible." Performed by the incredible Shulem Lemmer, the anthem was composed to evoke the core values of Fabuwood, inspiring homes and proving that with the right vision, the impossible becomes reality.
A Living Playlist: The Track-by-Track Tour
Led by our Creative Director Kerrie Kelly and a lineup of world-class Brand Ambassadors, each space functioned like a track on a perfectly curated album.

Track 1: Off the Record (Luxe Canyon Oak): Designed by Pulp Design Studios, this moody lounge featured our bold Luxe Canyon Oak. The "wow" factor here was the InFocus charging drawer, a sleek solution for the "distraction addiction" of the modern age, allowing guests to tuck away their tech, charge it, and be present.

Track 2: Timber and Tempo (Galaxy Pistachio & Echo Timber): This kitchen was the "accessory track." We featured everything from appliance garages and mixer lifts to 3D chase modifications. The crowd fell in love with the micro-shaker style and the L-shaped Timber floating shelves.

Track 3: Mediterranean Melodies (Galaxy Desert Oak & Linen): A masterclass in spa-inspired calm. We showed that even open shelving can be elevated with custom hardware, escalating the aesthetic of a standard vanity into something gallery-worthy.

Track 4: Chords and Cadence (Catalina Hickory Rock): A sculptural space layered with tactile sanctuary. The walls were adorned with real vinyl records, tying the musical theme directly into the cabinetry.

Track 5: Rhythm and Hues (Luna Cabernet & Pitch Black): Part of our Designer Collection, this track proved that bold, deep tones like Cabernet can feel both efficient and incredibly expressive.

Track 6: Bubblegum Beats: Featuring Catalina Ice Cream and a custom Nexus pink, this space was a hit. With an arch valence, custom framed cabinets, and even a matching pink mixer, it was a playful reminder that utility can be high-fashion.

The "Razzle Dazzle" in the Details
Beyond the cabinetry, the booth was alive with energy. We had a magician weaving through the crowds, echoing the "magic" of a seamless kitchen transformation. Upstairs, the InFocus conference rooms provided a birds-eye view of the action, while downstairs, the reception desk played our anthem on a loop.
From mesh glass inserts and checkerboard walls (featuring Luxe Canyon Oak and Echo Dove) to the Illume mini-doors and color blocks that designers scrambled to take home, every detail was tuned to perfection.

The Final Note
KBIS 2026 was a celebration of what happens when precision engineering meets soulful design. We proved that semi-custom cabinetry can carry the weight of real life while looking like it belongs on a gallery wall.
The show floor has gone quiet, and we are thrilled to bring home the "Best Large Booth" win, but the inspiration is just getting started. If you’re ready to bring The Sound of Home into your next project, the sheet music is ready.
